Welcome to the 2008 Forsythe Cup The Forsythe Cup began in 1999 as a nine hole event for some friends to get together and compete for the Cup. It has since grown to a full shotgun tournament at one of Canada's premier golf courses. Over the past four years The Forsythe Cup has raised approximately $25,000 for the Aphasia Institute in Toronto. With this year's event, we hope to continue that success and grow the number exponentially.
Aphasia Aphasia is an acquired disorder caused by an injury to the brain and affects a person's ability to communicate. It is most often the result of a stroke or head injury.
The Aphasia Institute The Aphasia Institute has been helping people and their families for over 25 year. They aim to give hope and make a difference to the quality of life and well being of individuals with aphasia and their families, wherever they may be. They aspire to change society so that communicative access is universally accepted for all those affected by aphasia.
